As we do the work of the Lord, in whatever capacity He has called us, to whatever degree He strengthens us, we’ll keep in mind the truth of who He is and who we are and to the life to which He has beckoned us. We praise Him and look to Him on this day.

Truth!!!!
Thank you for this post. Christianity is so much more than just the salvation of souls, as the Christiandom of my past stated or implied so many times, and I am grateful for people like you who can see that important truth.
Salvation of souls is the most important thing, I would say, since it’s our souls (and spirits) that are eternal. But all the other things are very important too, and I would argue that they have eternal ramifications.
